Hurricanes out scored by the Dreadnaughts in a week two disappointing loss.

LAKELAND, FL Week 2 ended pretty much the way week 1 did with a disappointing loss to longtime foe Lakeland. With Lakeland sticking to a strong running game, a 37 point scoring streak prompted a rolling clock in the third quarter. The game ended with final score being the Dreadnaughts 37 and the Hurricanes 0. The Hurricanes will now prepare for their first district game at Palmetto, but not before taking a bye week off.
