Tracy Sanders is a highly experienced coach with a robust background in football both as a player and a coach. He graduated from Florida State University, where he was a four-year letterman under the legendary coach Bobby Bowden.
Number of Years Coaching:
Coach Sanders has been dedicated to coaching for over 25 years, starting his coaching career at Manatee High School in 1998. He has been a pivotal part of the Hurricanes' coaching staff ever since.
Football Playing Experience:
High School: Tracy Sanders played for Manatee High School in the mid-1980s, where he led the team as the quarterback to its first state title in 1983.
College: At Florida State University, Sanders transitioned to play as a cornerback, showcasing his versatility and athleticism.
Professional: Sanders had a stint in the NFL, where he played for teams such as the Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers. He later found success in Arena Football with the Tampa Bay Storm, where he won back-to-back World Championships.
Personal Life:
Coach Sanders is married to Twanda Sanders, and they have two sons, both of whom graduated from Manatee High School. They are also proud grandparents to three grandchildren.

In recognition of his contributions and achievements, Tracy Sanders was inducted into the Manatee High School Hall of Honor, a testament to his enduring impact on the school’s football program and his exceptional career both as a player and a coach.
