Coaching, Education & Experience: Coach Sanders is a graduate of Florida State University, where he was a four year letterman.

Number of Years Coaching:

Number of Years Coaching at Manatee: Coach Sanders started coaching at Manatee High School in 1998 and has been with Canes ever since.

Football Playing Experience:

High School: Played for the Hurricanes in the mid- eighties and won the school’s first State title in 1983 as the quarterback of the team.

College: Played for legendary coach Bobby Bowden at Florida State University

Professional: Spent time bouncing around the NFL with teams such as Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers. Coach later wrap his career up by playing Arena Football with the Tampa Bay Storm where he won back-to-back World titles with team.

Personal: Married & Kids Name.
Coach is married to Twanda Sanders, where they have two sons (both Manatee HS graduates) and three grand children.
