Coach Domonique Dunbar is a proud Manatee High School alumnus who excelled as the Hurricanes’ quarterback and earned a spot in the prestigious CaliFlorida All-Star Game. Continuing his football career at the University of Louisville, he played cornerback from 2000–2004 before graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration.

In 2005, Coach Dunbar signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles and went on to play three seasons of Arena Football from 2006–2008. Returning to his alma mater, he now serves as a Special Education teacher at Manatee High School and is also the head track coach, leading his teams to multiple state championships.

Off the field, Coach Dunbar is a dedicated father to his two children, Demi and Dallas.
