Hurricanes outscored by Palmetto, loses rivalry 9 - 27

The Hurricanes fall to 0-3 in a rivalry, now district matchup against the Palmetto Tigers. With bad weather in question the Hurricanes and Tigers kicked off 20 minutes early to avoid inclimate weather. The Tigers scored early on and the Hurricanes trailed the Tigers till the final buzzer. In good fashion despite the disappointing loss both teams showed great sportsmanship. We hope to Palmetto again in the post season. Final score Manatee 9 Palmetto 27.
